Please join us in viewing our first exhibition of 2025, Gasp, highlighting more than 80 original artworks by 61 visual artists.

For this juried group exhibition, the prompt on our call for entries invited STL regional artists to submit provocative artworks that push boundaries with subject matter and imagery intended to shock, startle, surprise, confront, or disarm viewers. We encouraged all explorations and interpretations of the theme with artworks in all media, styles, and techniques. This show was open to artists 18+ living within 200 miles of Art Saint Louis.

Gasp opens with a free public reception on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. Awards will be announced after 6:15 p.m.

We are honored to have the opportunity to work with St. Louis-based artists Dail Chambers and Nick Nihira as our co-Jurors for Gasp.
